The Accumulation of Moments

Every decision matters, no matter how small

A clock with moments frozen in time

Sometimes I have to remind myself that life is the accumulation of every single momentary decision I've made up to this point. Every second of the day, you choose to do something—and that choice has consequences.

I need to keep reminding myself of this truth: what you do right now matters. Even if it only moves the needle by 0.001%, the small gains add up—and they might even compound if you play your cards right.

Next time you feel like binge-watching a TV series or staying up until 1 a.m. scrolling the internet, ask yourself what you're sacrificing.

If you’re not where you want to be in life, you have no excuses.
