Delusionally Self-Confident

The most successful people in life are delusionally self-confident.

The most successful people in life are delusionally self-confident. Confidence normally comes as a result of learning from your environment; as you learn over many iterations of doing a thing, your confidence doing the thing rises. However, I've grown to think this isn't necessary. The delusionally self-confident bypass this iterative learning.

I also think much mental suffering in life comes from a lack of self-esteem directly related to a lack of self-confidence. I think self-confidence is probably the single most important trait for anyone, period. Every entrepreneur must have it. Without some delusional level of confidence you would never start anything, because you know the chance of success is so low. You have to believe in yourself.
